Frequently Asked Questions

1.) Who does Chippewa Valley Movement work with?

We help active individuals from all walks of life. You are a great fit for our practice if you:

  • Value high quality care that is focused on YOU and YOUR goals.

  • Have tried traditional chiropractic or physical therapy without long-term relief.

  • Have been dealing with chronic pain and are afraid you might deal with this forever.

  • Want to become strong, resilient, and life live free of pain.

  • Have been told to stop performing activities such as lifting, running, golfing by another provider.

  • Are frustrated with previous attempts at pain relief.

  • Have a smile and a positive attitude :)

2.) What makes you different from other clinics?

Differing from traditional chiropractic clinics in the Chippewa Valley, we don’t make you come back multiple times a week for months on end, wasting both time and money. We quickly identify the underlying issue, provide hands on treatment, and educate you on how you can be an active participant in your recovery process. We won't discourage you from crossfit, running, golfing or other forms of exercise... we ENCOURAGE it!

3.) What's included in the initial visit?

The initial visit lasts 60 minutes. Assessments will vary from person to person depending on individual needs but may consist of a movement evaluation, orthopedic exams, neurological exams, and joint/soft tissue palpation as well as a detailed health history. This is also where we will determine your specific goals. After all of this we will jump right into our initial treatment.

4.) What's included in the follow up visits?

Treatment during follow up visits may vary but will always be an hour long. What we do during a visit of course is dependent on you and the goals you've set. In most cases we will be going through appropriate rehab strategies, soft tissue work, education and more. We couldn't imagine trying to do all that in a 7 minute visit. That is barely enough time to ask how your day is going! Spending a full hour, 1-on-1 with us will provide the quickest and longest lasting results. So why settle for anything less?

5.) Do you take my insurance?

We are a cash practice for one reason only; our patients. We are free to treat how we see fit without being burdened by the parameters of insurance. Our main priority at Chippewa Valley Movement is to provide the highest quality of care. This means offering longer appointment times and evidence-based treatment options, to get you out of pain and in control of your life again. Insurance companies often dictate the length and type of treatment their policy holders can receive. In order to uphold our standards and those of the people we treat, we currently do not accept insurance.

6.) Will you keep me coming back forever?

The short answer is, no, we're not that type of chiropractic clinic. We work together to develop an effective treatment plan that is results driven and provides long term-relief. One that is also cost-effective and gets you back to doing the things you love in as few visits as possible. We understand that healthcare costs money, and we want you to invest in yourself and in a provider and who helps you get long-lasting results and keeps more money in your pocket.
